Church burglar convicted
Bleeding burglar leads to arrest and conviction

Following a spate of break-in attempts on churches in the area, including St Swithun's, Long Bennington, James Richard Taylor has been charged and convicted of four burglaries and 15 'other offences'. He has been sentenced to 14 months imprisonment. Security has been stepped up at St Swithun's Church, but locals are asked to report anything suspicious to the police and/or church wardens.
