Windfarm Appeal Dismised
The Planning Inspector has dismissed the RidgeWind appeal and refused planning permission for a windfarm development comprising no more than 8 wind turbines with associated infrastructure including access roads, control building, transformers, wind monitoring mast and road improvements at Palmers Hollow (Field 2700) Main Street, Normanton, Bottesford, Leics NG13 0EP.

Ridgewind appealed against the Melton decision to refuse planning permission for the winfarm
The Planning Inspector has now (*July) dissmissed the Ridgewind appeal against the non-approval of the windfarm
This decision has been aided by the actions and perseverence of BLOT and local parish councils.
Much thanks must go the time time put in by Gareth Dawkins from our Parish Council and Paul Wood, Independent district councillor and also a memeber of the parish council.
