Over 40 parishioners attend open meeting

Over 40 parishioners attend open meeting to hear news and information from local groups and guest speaker Stephen Phillips QC. our new MP.
Updates were received from the Twinning Association and Long Bennington Playing Fields Committee as well as Vic Kerr standing in for Paul Wood on District Council matters.
Topic discussed inluded the Wind Farm Propsal Status, Affordable Housing and what being a Service Centre means for Long Bennington.
Mr Phillips has agreed to support Long Bennington on certain issues and will fire off the neccessary paperwork. In addition he has agreed to keep us informed of progress.
